ALL (8) OverviewLake Three is a family-friendly campground for those seeking a secluded and quiet place to enjoy nature. The site offers a primitive swimming beach, boat launch and trailheads for hiking.Natural Features:Campsites are scattered in a hardwood forest around the 63-acre Lake Three, in the dense forests of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest of northern Wisconsin. Recreation:The lake is home to musky, bass and pan fish and offers an ideal spot to kayak, canoe, swim or enjoy a leisurely boat ride. Facilities:The campground offers eight single-family campsites, available for tent and RV camping. Each site is equipped with tables and campfire rings with grills. Accessible vault toilet, drinking water, trash collection and an aluminum can recycling bin are also provided. Nearby Attractions:While in the area, visitors are encouraged to visit Morgan Falls, St. Peter's Dome, and the Penokee Overlook, all of which are just a short drive from the campground. Due to the spread of invasive insects, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 187/Mineral Lake Road and continue for 3 miles to the intersection with Forest Service Road 198/Pine Stump Corner. Turn right and continue less than a mile to the campground sign.
