Site
Alcoholic beverages and fireworks are prohibited. Firearms are prohibited except for with the proper license.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; check-out time is 3:00 p.m.
There are no individual site hookups.
Must occupy assigned site. Register with campground host or park staff at site. 6 person limit per site includes kids.
Park gates are locked at closing time and are not reopened until 8 a.m. The park closes at 6 PM November - February, 8 PM March, April, September, and October, and 9 PM May - August.
Pets are allowed except in park buildings and swim areas, but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
Quiet hours begin at 10 pm and end at 7 am. Generators may not be used during quiet hours or at any time if they annoy, disturb or frighten other visitors. Vehicles may not be operated during quiet hours except in case of an emergency.

In the event of an emergency or overnight problem, campers should contact the campground host for assistance.
Persons that are 16 years of age or more must possess a valid NC fishing license. Licenses are not sold at the park.
Park Hours:
November - February 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
March, April, September, October 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
May - August 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Closed Christmas Day
At least one adult, 18 or older, shall accompany each camper group.
Campers that arrive after closing time will have to camp elsewhere until park gates are opened at 8 a.m. There is a KOA campground located at exit 45 off of I-77. If 24 hrs late of arrival call 704-528-6350. Reservations will be forfeited if we do not hear from you within 24 hrs after arrival date
There are no water, electrical or sewer hookups in this campground.
Nightly rates are $17 per night.
North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited.
