Beach Lodge to be Removed from Reservation System: The beach lodge is scheduled to be removed from the reservation system. Due to ongoing parking limitations and heavy use of the beach area by beach users, the lodge will not be available for rentals beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. People wishing to rent the lodge in April, May (up to the Thursday before the Memorial Day holiday weekd), and after Labor Day through October, may contact the park office at 319/624-2200 to reserve the facility.

Hydrants on in Modern campground: Hydrants are now on for the 2013 season in the modern campground. Showers/restrooms are not open yet.
