DRAW DOWN OF LAKE AT LAKE D'ARBONNE: Beginning the day after Labor Day the lake is to be lowered 4 to 6 feet. This will probably effect the capability to launch boats and fish from any of the piers. The every 4 year draw down cycle is used to provide those who live on the lake opportunity to make repairs to docks, piers, boat landings etc. The lake is also lowered to help reduce aquatic vegetation.
