Attention Lake Cascade customers, summer road construction (June - August) on Lake Shore Drive is expected to cause delays and or detours to the following campgrounds Big Sage, Sage Bluff and Snowbank. Hours of construction are expected to be 7 am - 6pm Monday through Friday. No road work is expected to occur after 6 pm Friday through 7 am Monday. For the month of June Cabarton Road will be used for detours, the following is a list of mileages for this detour.
Cabarton Road to West Mountain Road 3.2 miles.
West Mountain Road to Lakeshore Drive 1.1 miles.
Lakeshore Drive to Snowbank Group Use 1.4 miles.
Lakeshore Drive to Big Sage Day Use entrance 1.8 miles.
Lakeshore Drive to Big Sage Campground entrance 2.0 miles.
Lakeshore Drive to Sage Bluff Campground entrance 2.2 miles.
A 50 ft hose is required for RV users to reach the water hook-up.
Camping will only be allowed in specified campsites. Fires will be restricted to metal fire rings and will no longer be permitted on the beach. Motorized access will no longer be permitted on the beach. The campground has recently been seeded with grass and wildflowers. To allow time for growth, please stay on the living pads, paved paths and roadways when walking or driving around the campground. Day use hours are from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
