Wildflowers flourish in a prairie and a storm brews in the distance. Purple blazing stars, white pipeworts and water cowbanes, yellow and white milkworts, and tawny wiregrasses and bluestems are visible in the prairie. Green palmetto patches and sable palms are on the horizon.

Sunshine caresses the wide vehicle pad and entrance of campsite 35. Fire effects are visible on the oak tree in the traffic pattern island. Florida dry prairie and the Prairie Loop Trail trailhead are visible across the island. Beyond the shaded picnic table and fire ring are 2 trails to explore this unique ecosystem. Deer and turkey are usually seen browsing in the wet prairie behind the campsite.

The horse sites at KISSIMMEE PRAIRIE PRESERVE SP can be reserved by anyone (You do NOT need to have a horse).

A horse is not required for you to be able to camp on this site

Site is 0.4 miles from bathhouse. A composting toilet is available between sites 24 and 25. Horse campers are allowed to utilize the bathhouse.
