Horse sites are restricted to campers with horses. The family campground has one vault toilet building and a central water source. Each site has a fire ring, picnic table and green-space for setting up tents. In addition, each site has a designated 30' x 30' limestone surfaced area where horses must be kept. Within this area, campers may set-up portable corrals or use the two tether poles provided. Horses can only be tied to trailers while saddling. There is a covered horse stable with 24, 10' x 10' box stalls available on a first-come, first-served basis. Campers are responsible for gathering all hay, manure and shavings from their horses and depositing in manure pits located throughout the campground. Tools and wheel barrows are provided. Camping fees are in addition to vehicle admission sticker and trail pass fees. Trail passes are required for all horse riders 16 and older.
