Directions to Satterwhite Point:
From I-85, take exit 217 and travel north on Satterwhite Point Road approximately 5.5 miles. The park office is on the right. Camping and day facilities are on the left. Follow signs to Satterwhite Point and the Community Building.
Alcoholic beverages, firearms(including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited.
Community Building Rental Periods:
November - February: Check In: 9:30 a.m., Check Out: 5:30 p.m.
March -April and September - October: Check In: 9:30 a.m., Check Out: 7:30 p.m.
May - August: Check In 9:30 a.m., Check Out 8:30 p.m.
There is a $6.00 charge per car and is not included in the rental fee; $4.00 for seniors. Fees apply weekends in April, May and September, then everyday from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Cookers and grills are only allowed on the graveled grill pad. Do not place them on the concrete patio.
Amplified music, speech or other noise that annoys or disturbs other visitors is prohibited.
The person making the reservation shall be liable for maintaining the good condition of the building and agrees to pay all fees and damage costs arising from the group's occupancy of the building. He/she shall ensure that the group complies with park rules, regulations and conditions of the rental.
Use only masking tape for hanging decorations. Do not use nails or staples and do not hang decorations from light fixtures.
Park-owned tables and chairs are not allowed outside the Community Building.
Pets not permitted in Community Building.
Please make sure that all trash and other debris in and immediately around the community building is picked up and disposed of properly.
Special Activity Permits shall be required for special events like weddings, competitive events, festivals, inflatable bouncers, etc. Please contact park office for more information.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.
