CampLodge: This facility becomes available in January each year; unlike most overnight facilities, it is not sold 11 months in advance. It is available for rent only during the camping season and requires a two-night minimum stay. Maximum capacity is 14 people. The bunkhouse is not a full service lodge. It's a two-room trailer with seven bunk beds, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee pot, and heating and air conditioning. There is no bathroom, kitchen, chairs, or fireplace. Linens are not provided so guests must bring their own linens and pillows. Located behind the Red Oak Campground and use that campgrounds bathhouse. The bunkhouse also has a charcoal grill and two picnic tables. Cooking and smoking are not permitted inside the lodge. Five vehicles are permitted with rental of the lodge. The electrical outlets are limited to 50 amp service. Visitors are charged a daily parking fee, must park in areas designated by the park, and leave the park by 10 pm. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Non-Virginia residents pay a higher rate than Virginia Residents.
