Banner Ridge Yurt does not allow dogs from Dec 1st through April 15th. All other times dogs are welcome at this yurt
Distance to this yurt: When the snow is gone on Elkhorn Loop (usually late May through late November) you can drive 2 miles with 750 ft elevation gain (one way) to the summer parking area, then hike 300 yards to the yurt. A high clearance vehicle is recommended.
When snow is on the Elkhorn Loop (usually late November through late May) you will park in the Banner Ridge Park N Ski parking area, then ski or snowshoe in 2.2 miles (one way) with 750 ft elevation gain to the yurt.
