Humboldt Redwoods State Park is the location of two marathons that occur within the first three weekends of May and Oct. every year. These marathons close two of the main roads through the park for up to 6 hours. For more information or dates of these events, please call the park.
Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in.
Your DMV Disabled Placard does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP).
Due to a public health and safety concern, the propane lights will no longer be lit in the restrooms at the Williams Grove Group Camps. Please bring a lantern or a flashlight when using the facilities.
Individual campsites-Maximum allowable stay is thirty (30) nights per calendar year per park, with no more than fifteen (15) of these nights permitted during the summer season (05/01 through 09/30).
Group and Environmental campsites-Maximum allowable stay is 14 nights per calendar year per park, with no more than seven (7) nights of consecutive use per visit.
After maximum allowable consecutive use has been reached no person or equipment may re-enter the same park to use any camping facilities until the expiration of at least 48 hours.
Dogs are allowed, but not on the trails or Environmental sites.
Humboldt is now site specific for reservations. You will select you site at the time your reservation is made.
- Fees are for one vehicle and one legally towed vehicle.
Additional vehicles will be charged a fee at the park.
- Please note and honor the maximum amount of vehicles allowed for each campsite.
- All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking spur.
- Pets are welcome at the park. However, they must be on leash at all times and are never allowed on trails or in undeveloped areas.
- ALBEE CREEK, BURLINGTON, HIDDEN SPRINGS,
WILLIAMS GROVE, CUNEO CREEK HORSE GROUP,
MARIN GROUP, & ENVIROMENTAL sites (Baxter and Hamilton Barn) are campgrounds in this park, which can be 2-15 miles apart.

- Cuneo Creek Family Horse Camp: 1st1st April 27-May 22; reservations available May 23-September 3; 1st1st September 4-October 14; Closed when not on reservations or 1st1st
- Hidden Springs (1-55, 79-86, 142-148): Reservations available May 23-September 3; Closed when not on reservations
- Hidden Springs (87-121): 1st1st May 23-September 3; Closed when not 1st1st
- Hidden Springs (56-78, 122-141, 149-155): Reservations available May 23-May 28; June 28-September 3; Closed when not on reservations
