PET FRIENDLY CABIN:
Effective January 1, 2013, Cabin #10 will allow pets. If bringing a pet you will need to reserve Cabin #10. There is an additional $25 non-refundable service charge and a maximum of two pets permitted.
Please refer to specific site pet information listed for Cabin #10.
NO SMOKING:
Smoking is not permitted within the Interior of the full-service cabins.
ALCOHOL POLICY:
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all areas of the park with the exception of interior areas of full-service cabins. Additional Alcohol Policy Information can be found at:

CABIN DAMAGE/CLEANING:
Due to recent problems involving damage to cabins or excessive cleaning needs, the park will charge the registered occupant for the cost of damages or substantial cleaning incurred during your stay.
EXTRA PERSON:
One person over the capacity is permitted. Extra person fee is $15 per stay and can be paid at the park. Please advise park if you are bringing an extra person.
PARK AND CABIN AMENITIES:
Cabin is heated, has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom. Twin beds. Cabins 4,5,7,8 and 12 have full-lofts. Cabins 13 - 20 have half-lofts. Personal items such as towels, soap, linens, pillows, blankets, etc are NOT provided. Beach, volleyball, tennis courts and softball fields are located near cabin area.
SAME DAY ARRIVALS:
Visitors must contact the park at: 301-334-9180, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4 pm, to arrange for a same day cabin arrival reservation.
WILDLIFE:
The forest land around the park is home to black bears. They have been known to travel throughout the park looking for an easy meal. PLEASE keep all food in your vehicle or cabin and trash in the dumpster. If you see a bear, tell a park employee.
Cabins in our state parks are located in natural forest environment which serve as home to a wide variety of wildlife. Wildlife that has been encountered by guests in the past include: mice, squirrels, chipmunks, bears, deer, skunks, bats, raccoons, & snakes (very rare occasions, poisonous snake).
LINENS/TOWELS:
You MUST provide your own bed linen (sheets/blankets/pillows), as well as bath & kitchen towels.

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.
CABIN LOCK COMBINATIONS:
Prior to arrival at the park, contact the park at 301-334-9180 (Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4 pm) to receive the access code to the cabin.
MINIMUM STAY:
There is a 2-night minimum stay. Holiday weekends (Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend) will require a 3-night minimum stay.
PRICING:
Prices are subject to change without notice and reservation fees, as well as cancellation fees are non-refundable.
