In the late 1960's, Loren Sonny Paullus, along with his family, dreamed of converting the dry and barren Paullus Turkey Farm into a lush, green golf course. A group of nearby property owners plus some friends got together with Sonny in 1971 to create Ridgemark Corporation, the developer of this Ridgemark Complex. The original directors of the corporation were Sonny Paullus, Ray Sabbatini, George Shore, Dave Rosati, Don Gomes, Bruce Dunning, Sr. and Meredith Brick Hagins.
