Alerts and Important Information Firewood Notice: Currently, firewood is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park, Trail or Forest properties from out of state or from more than 25 miles away from the destination campground.
In addition, firewood that has been in a Wisconsin EAB quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood nearby or at the property you are going to. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline 1-877-303-WOOD (9663) for information before packing for a trip.The shower buildings and dump water station are closed during the winter months due to freezing temperatures; some pit toilets are open. All other sites are closed to camping when not on reservations. The family campground is closed to all camping December 1st - March 31st and the group campground is closed to all camping Nov. 1st - March 31st. For group camping, wheeled campers and vehicles must remain on the black top parking area. Tents may camp on grass and in the woods up to the yellow posts. Getting There:Hartman Creek State Park is located approximately 6 miles west of Waupaca off State Hwy. 54. A brown recreational hwy. sign will show you where to turn, onto Hartman Creek Road and go 1 1/2 miles to come to the entrance of the park.
