Family campsites will be closed to camping effective October 1, 2013 for a campground improvement project. We anticipate re-opening in early 2014. The Day Use Areas at Half Moon Bay State Beach and the Sweetwood Group Camp will remain open during this construction period. If you have questions, please call (650) 726-8819.

Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in.

Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP).

Family sites are now reservable.

• Half Moon Bay is site specific, you will select your site at the time your reservation is made.
• Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged at the park. There is a 3 vehicle maximum per site, including tow vehicles.
• Family sites and Group site reservable Year-Round!
• To book a Group site you must have at least NINE occupants

The beach is located one half mile west of Highway One on Kelly Avenue in Half Moon Bay.
