Description

Bring an inner tube for a lazy float along Conococheague Creek. Rent a canoe and paddle beneath a bright canopy of foliage. It's all tucked into Maryland's rolling countryside at this KOA. Lovely rock and water gardens accent the well-manicured grounds. You're welcome to pick a tomato or two. At "The Remember When Diner", fill up with a homemade dinner from April to October. Enjoy homemade crab cakes, barbecue dinners, kids' meals and more. On summer weekends enjoy breakfast. You also can take part in theme weekends during busy summer months. Antietam, Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry Civil War battlegrounds are nearby.Visit Fort Frederick, a fort from the French Indian Wars. Canoe floating trips now available. Shop antique malls and hike/bike along the C&O Canal.
