Gros Morne / Norris Point KOA, NL
DescriptionJoin in a campfire sing-along as dusk falls and lake mists rise at Newfoundland's first and only KOA. This secluded campground sits in a wooded valley at the center of Gros Morne National Park, an area so spectacular it has been designated a World Heritage Site. Campsites overlook a majestic mountain lake, perfect for swimming and boating (pedal boat and canoe rentals available). Walk the "Moose Path" along its shore. Endless trails-some easy, some demanding-explore the contours and vistas of this stunning land. Join interpretive kayak tours to glide among glacier carved fjords. Kids get their own interpretive hikes and crafts. You'll all want to become honorary Newfoundlanders with the KOA's initiation "screech-in."
