Description

Tucked away in this 400-acre park in the southwest corner of the Granite State are ponds, bogs, and a forest that extends to the shore of undeveloped Otter Lake. The park offers opportunities to swim, fish, walk, canoe, camp and picnic in a variety of settings. Walking paths lead to ponds and other points of interest in the park. A small park store offers refreshments and souvenirs for sale.

Alerts and Important Information

SITE FEE COVERS 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN. FOR ALL ADDITIONAL ADULTS A FEE OF $10 PER NIGHT AND FOR ALL ADDITIONAL CHILDREN FEES OF $5 PER NIGHT ARE TO BE PAID UPON ARRIVAL.

All persons entering the campground must be registered. Upon arrival campers must have their camping equipment and be prepared to set up.
No one under 18 years of age can reserve a site or be issued a camping permit. Campers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older. You must sign for your own site. No one else may register a site for you.
There is a maximum of 2 vehicles per site, including those of paid guest. Extra vehicles are to be parked in the shower-building parking lot.
Camping equipment must be set up on designated dirt portion of campsites, adjacent to the picnic table and fireplace.
Maximum per site: one trailer (tent or travel) and one tent; OR one motor home and one tent; OR two large tents.
Guests of registered campers must sign in at the campground office, pay the day-use fee, and may visit in the campground from 7am to 10pm.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
Help protect the campground trees. Do not drive nails into trees, hang gas lanterns on trees, cut any standing trees, or remove their limbs.
Check-out time is 11am. After check-out campers may park and spend the remainder of the day in the day-use area.
To ensure a pleasurable and safe visit for both pets and park visitors, please take the time to familiarize yourself with the following rules:
  • Pets are prohibited at all state beaches, picnic areas, and historic sites.
  • In areas where pets are allowed, pets must be leashed and attended at all times; owners are responsible for their pets' actions.
  • If a pet becomes objectionable to any park visitor, the owner will be asked to remove the pet from the park.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended in any vehicle, camper, carrier or enclosure at any time.

    NO hook up sites at this campground. Campers with pets can make reservations for sites in pet section only. Payment at time of reservation covers 2 adults and 2 children.
