Brierman Triathlon in Park
October 5th, 2014 there will be a Triathlon in Greenbrier State Park. There may be short periods of road closures in the campground.
When the Park is filled to capacity, visitors to the campground will not be allowed in until the Park reopens.
Youth Groups are required to check-in by 8:00 pm. If group can not check in by the required time, alternative arrangements must be made prior to arrival by contacting the Park Office at 301.791.4767.
SERVICES/ AMENITIES WITHIN FACILITY: Picnic tables, fire ring, 2-grills, tent area, parking, hiking, swimming in Greenbrier Lake within the appropriate seasons and guidelines.

Bath House located within Dogwood Camping Loop; approx. 350 feet away. Hot showers available.
Gravel parking lot provides for a maximum of 6 vehicles. Vehicles must be parked on the gravel.
On-Board Generators maybe operated from 8 am to 8 pm, but all aspects of their use and operation must conform to the established quiet hours and all applicable safeguards designed to prevent disturbing other visitors and to preserve the peace and tranquility of the park environment. Portable generators are prohibited.
Campground visitors must pay a facility service charge and exit the campground by 10:00 pm.
Memorial Day - Labor Day Weekends and Holidays, $5/person. Weekdays, $3/person.
May & September Weekends, $3/person
All other times, $3/vehicle.

All campers must get the gate combination at time of check-in.
Campfires are permitted in the fire ring only, except during times when a burning ban may be in effect. Campfires must be attended at all times and extinguished before going to bed at night and upon departure.
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property. Firewood can be purchased at the Park.
Swimming opportunities are not always guaranteed, Memorial Day thru Labor Day. It is your responsibility to call the Park Office at least two days prior to your arrival to check current swimming conditions. Be aware the cancellation policy is still in effect. Lifeguards are on duty from 11 am to 6 pm daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Quiet time will be maintained in the campground from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
