Brierman Triathlon in Park
October 5th, 2014 there will be a Triathlon in Greenbrier State Park. There may be short periods of road closures in the campground.
ADA Bathhouse available within ASH LOOP. Birch/Cedar/Dogwood bathhouse is not ADA accessible.
When the Park is filled to capacity, visitors to the campground will not be allowed in until the Park reopens.
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all areas of the park with the exception of interior areas of motorhomes. Additional Alcohol Policy Information can be found at:
GOLDEN AGE PASS:
Persons 62 years of age and older with Maryland Park Service GOLDEN AGE PASS ARE ENTITLED TO HALF-PRICE CAMPING Sunday - Thursday, excluding Holidays. Display of Golden Age Pass will be required upon check-in. Additional service charges will be applied if unable to provide proof of valid pass. Golden Age Pass requires a $10 fee. On-Board Generators maybe operated from 8 am to 8 pm, but all aspects of their use and operation must conform to the established quiet hours and all applicable safeguards designed to prevent disturbing other visitors and to preserve the peace and tranquility of the park environment. Portable generators are prohibited.
Campground visitors must pay a facility service charge and exit the campground by 10:00 pm.
Memorial Day - Labor Day Weekends and Holidays, $5/person. Weekdays, $3/person.
May & September Weekends, $3/person
All other times, $3/vehicle.

No camper registration after 10:00 pm. Park gates close at 10:00 pm.
All campers must get the gate combination at time of check-in.
Campfires are permitted in the fire ring only, except during times when a burning ban may be in effect. Campfires must be attended at all times and extinguished before going to bed at night and upon departure.
Occupany is limited to 6 people per site, including children. At least one of which must be 18 years of age or older. All campers must be registered by 10:00 pm. Check-in is at 3:00 pm - campers may occupy a site sooner than 3:00 pm if the site is vacant.
Two vehicles per site. The number of tents/trailers per site depends on the size of the site. All camping equipment and vehicles must be kept on the camp pad or driveway to the pad. Overflow parking is available at the Visitor Center.
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property. Firewood can be purchased at the Park.
Swimming opportunities are not always guaranteed, Memorial Day thru Labor Day. It is your responsibility to call the Park Office at least two days prior to your arrival to check current swimming conditions. Be aware the cancellation policy is still in effect. Lifeguards are on duty from 11 am to 6 pm daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

Quiet time will be maintained in the campground from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
There is a two night minimum stay (Friday/Saturday) and a three night minimum holiday stay on weekends, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
Prices are subject to change without notice and reservation fees, as well as cancellation fees are non-refundable.
Pets are allowed in Cedar and Dogwood camping loops only. Seasonal restrictions for pets apply to the beach area.
