This is a DAY USE ONLY, ADA Accessible, Non-Smoking Shelter.
Alcoholic beverages and fireworks are prohibited. Firearms are prohibited except for with the proper license.
No Overnight Camping Allowed on this site.
The Check In time is 8AM.
The Check Out Time is a half-hour before the park closes. This varies during different seasons. Check Out Time for winter is 5:30PM. Check Out Time for Peak Season is 8:30PM. Please check upon arrival.
The site is equipped with 42 parking spaces, (40 regular spaces + 2 Accessible spaces), 12 Picnic Tables (10 regular + 2 Accessible), 2 large charcoal grills, fireplace, restrooms, and electricity.
Pets are allowed, however MUST be accompanied at all times and on a leash no longer than 6 ft.
Unlicensed vehicles and motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.



North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced.
