CAMPGROUND SHOWER/RESTROOM BUILDINGS AND DUMP STATION CLOSED: Currently, reservations are not being accepted for camping stays between June 11 and July 4 due to a sewer line failure causing the dump station and modern restroom/shower facilities to be closed. Reservations will be accepted once the sewer line situation is fixed and operational. The campground remains open for walk-in camping and fees will be reduced to off-season rates during this period. Potable water, electricity and portable restrooms are available. If campers have an existing camping reservation from June 11 - July 4 and have questions about a reduced rate or cancelling due to the sewer problem, please contact the Iowa DNR at 515/242-6233.
