This is a 'Trash Free' Park. Pack it in-Pack it out. Recycle/Reuse/Reduce.
GENERATORS :
Generators are allowed, but NO amplified music or other loud noise.
PARKING:
Parking is available. No designated parking for Shelter. Parking lot is first-come, first-serve. Distance from parking lot to Shelter is 200 feet, across a mowed grass field.
PARK HOURS:
The Park is open 8:00 am until Sunset. Visitors using the Shelter must leave by Sunset.
ALCOHOL POLICY:
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all state park areas with the exception of interior areas of full-service cabins, motorhomes, and designated shelters. Permits may be issued upon request by the Park Manager for special events operating under a use agreement.
Alcohol permits will only be issued through a reservation for a designated shelter, or other approved facility. A $35 fee will be charged for each alcohol permit. Permits may be revoked for cause by Park Manager, their designee or a Natural Resources Police Officer.
Internet shelter reservations requiring an alcohol permit will need to contact the Call Center at 1-888-432-2267, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 8 pm to make your reservation.

Prices are subject to change without notice and reservation fees, as well as cancellation fees are non-refundable.

Restrooms are available and located approximately 200 feet from the Shelter, across the road.

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.

Shelter has fireplace in center, with 2'x3' grill on top.
