Reservations cannot be cancelled within 3 days of arrival without forfeiture of deposit.
Please postmark your check or money order to later than tomorrow to avoid cancellation.
If you do not arrive on the first night of your stay, you will be counted as a no-show, your reservation will be cancelled, and you will forfeit your deposit. Gates are closed and locked at 10 pm.
Georgia Smoke-free Air Act of 2005 states that "smoking is prohibited in all enclosed facilities, including buildings owned, leased, or operated by the State or local governing authorities."
Tent Walk-In campsite holds the following equipment: 1 tent or 2 tents. This area is for hike in campeers only.No vehicles allowed. Two night minimum on weekends. Sites have easy access to lake, boats and canoes can be docked at shoreline. All sites have a picnic table & grill. Sites are located 225 ft away from parking area. There is a central bathhouse located near parking lot.All tents must be pitched on designated tent pads. All sites share a central water spigot. No electricity on these sites. Each site has a picnic table, grill, and fire ring.
Dogs cannot be left unattended at any time. Dogs are only allowed in designated dog areas & must be on a 6' leash. Guest is responsible for any damage caused by dog to cottage & may also be asked to leave if dog distubs other guests. There will be a $45 per dog fee collected at check-in. 2 dogs max . This policy does not apply to Service Animals.
Check-in is between 1 pm and 10 pm and check-out is before 1 pm. Campers must register and present a reservation confirmation before setting up. Late arrivals should contact the park office at 770-867-3489 prior to 5 pm.
Consumption or use of alcoholic beverages or intoxicants is unlawful in any public-use area
Any device that discharges projectiles by any means is prohibited
