Pioneer camp is for organized groups such as Scouts, Churches, etc. Large groups (more than 50 people) need to contact park for information on rest restroom facilities prior to making a reservation.

Please postmark your check or money order to later than tomorrow to avoid cancellation.

If you do not arrive on the first night of your stay, you will be counted as a no-show, your reservation will be cancelled, and you will forfeit your deposit. Gates are closed and locked at 10 pm.

Georgia Smoke-free Air Act of 2005 states that "smoking is prohibited in all enclosed facilities, including buildings owned, leased, or operated by the State or local governing authorities."

($75 per night) This is a primitive , rugged site for groups only. 10 person minimum. Site is located by itself. Site has water but no electricity. Site has fire ring and pit toilets. The area has two adirondack shelters, picnic shelter, and horseshoe pit. Site located in large wooded area in B-Section of park , approximately 100 yards from lake, hiking trails. Swimming, mini golf and boat rentals are 3 miles by car and 1 mile by trail.

Dogs cannot be left unattended at any time. Dogs are only allowed in designated dog areas & must be on a 6' leash. Guest is responsible for any damage caused by dog to cottage & may also be asked to leave if dog distubs other guests. There will be a $45 per dog fee collected at check-in. 2 dogs max . This policy does not apply to Service Animals.

Reservations cannot be cancelled within 3 days of arrival without forfeiture of deposit.

Check-in is between 1 pm and 10 pm and check-out is before 1 pm. Campers must register and present a reservation confirmation before setting up. Late arrivals should contact the park office at 770-867-3489 prior to 5 pm.

Radios.TV's, musical instruments, &all other noise-making devices must be kept at a low volume.

A two-night minimum is required on weekends (Friday, Saturday or Saturday, Sunday), and a three-night minimum is required for Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, and Thanksgiving.
Visitors are welcome, however, the number of visitors and registered guests must not exceed the stated capacity at any time . visitors must leave prior to closing time.

Camping Rate is $75 per night.

Children under 16 with bicycles must wear helmets while riding in the park.

All campfires must be kept in designated areas such as fire rings. Park roads are public roads. All vehicle are subjected to license safety requirements and regulations of theGeorgia Dept of Pulic Safety. Off-road vehicles and ATV's are not allowed in state parks.

Park gate closes at 10:00 PM. Your reservation may be subject to additional discounts. Rates do not include parkpass fees. Prices are subject to change.
