DAY USE FACILITY CHARGE:
In additional to the Shelter rental service charge, there is a day use facility fee to enter into the park. $3/per vehicle In-State; $5 per vehicle Out-State.

ALCOHOL POLICY:
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all state park areas with the exception of interior areas of full-service cabins and motorhomes. Permits may be issued upon request by the Park Manager for special events operating under a use agreement.
Alcohol permits will only be issued through a reservation for a designated shelter, or other approved facility. A $35 fee will be charged for each alcohol permit. Permits may be revoked for cause by Park Manager, their designee or a Natural Resources Police Officer.
Internet shelter reservations requiring an alcohol permit will need to contact the Call Center at 1-888-432-2267, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 8 pm to make your reservation.

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.

SHELTER AMENITIES:
There are picnic tables inside the Shelter, four 8 ft. tables and two 6 ft. tables. Outside Shelter there are six 6ft. tables. Restroom facilities and drinking water are located nearby <150 ft.. The Shelter has an electrical outlet, two charcoal grills and a firepit. 20 Parking spaces. In sight of playground. ADA accessible (not paved).

The Park is open until Sunset. Visitos using the Shelter must leave by Sunset.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Supplies may be unloaded at the Shelter by using the service road, but vehicles must be parked in designated parking lots.
TRASH FREE:
Please bring trash bags to remove all refuse, Reduce/Reuse/Recycle.
