Description

Foothills West RV Resort--Where adults go to play!

Foothills West RV Resort is an age restricted boutique style resort consisting of 192 sites, which include four pull thrus for overnight visitors, and six overflow sites for those travelers that forgot to make an advanced reservation and need to stop and rest awhile. Each site is a very spacious 55 feet deep and range from 30 to 40 feet wide, all with cement patios.

If you are looking for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a quiet neighborhood, then Foothills West is the place to be. The resort's ideal location is just minutes from interstate 10 which means you are just a short drive to all that Phoenix has to offer or to Tucson with its many sights to see, yet it is nestled in a quiet rural area of Casa Grande county.

The resort provides restrooms with showers for the weary traveler as well as a neat, clean laundry facility featuring coin-less washers and dryers, both of which are open 24 hours a day during the season. We provide mail service, including a secure mailbox, and monthly or long-term storage facilities. Foothills West is a pet friendly resort with sites set-aside for those people who travel with their four-legged family members.

Amenities at Foothills West include a large recreation hall with cable TV, a library, two exercise machines, a dance floor big enough for a real hoedown, and an attached poolroom with three billiard tables. The resort also features a large heated swimming pool with a hot tub and an outdoor BBQ kitchen with a shaded picnic area. There is an Arizona-style park area that provides 3 shuffleboards, 1 bocce ball and 2 horseshoe pits and a 9-hole putting green.

During the winter season the resort offers Water Aerobics, Low Impact Aerobics, a computer club, and nine-hole golf playoffs each Sunday after Church Services, which are held in the recreation hall. Enjoy crafts twice a week and visit with friends each Wednesday morning over coffee and donuts. Once a month there is a Saturday Breakfast and on Thursdays a Casino bus will take you to play Bingo at one of the Casinos just minutes away. These are just examples of the many activities you can enjoy during your stay at Foothills West.

Foothills West RV Resort's friendly, fun-loving atmosphere is what makes this resort special and will keep you coming back year after year.

Geography:

Surrounded by deserts and mountains, Casa Grande boasts an abundance of sunny days, dazzling sunsets, a rich multi-cultural history, and area residents who immediately make you feel like friends. Add this to the areas unique natural beauty where the Old West meets the New West and you have the secret to Casa Grandes allure.

The city bustles with activity during the fall, winter, and spring. The season is jam-packed with festivals, activities, and fun, such as the Annual Fiddlers Bluegrass Jamboree, Heritage Tourism Days, Wuertz Farm Family Gourd Festival, OOdham Tash Festival, Arizona State Open Chili Championship, Cactus Fly-In, Civil War re-enactment, and much, much more. In addition, there is a special series of events specifically created for 55+ winter visitors and area residents, called the Winter Celebration, as it is designed to take advantage of Casa Grandes seven months of glorious weather.

Of course, there are year-round activities for visitors and residents of all ages such as Skydive Arizona, which now boasts an indoor wind tunnel for the experience of skydiving without actually jumping out of a plane! Casa Grande offers museums, parks, golf courses, a variety of restaurants, movie theaters and more.

An Interstate hub of Arizona, Casa Grande is strategically located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson, and at the intersection of Interstates 8 and 10. The city is the retail center for western Pinal County and includes many merchants from national retail chains to smaller specialty stores to antique shops, a beautiful Historic Downtown district, and the Outlets of Casa Grande with more than 35 quality outlet stores, which attracts nearly two million shoppers per year.

Casa Grande is a modern city with a rural heritage.
