B.W. Wells - 1630 Bent Road in Wake Forest, approximately five miles east of NC 50 and three miles west of US 1/Wake Forest. From NC 98, take Stony Hill Road north and turn left on Bud Morris Road. Turn left on Bent Road and follow it to the recreation area.
Alcoholic beverages, firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited.
Camping equipment should not be left unattended for more than 12 hours.
Firewood is available for sale at the park. No collecting of dead wood lying on the ground. Do not cut live trees or limbs from trees.
Building fires in undesignated areas is prohibited.
November - February, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
March - April and September - October, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
May - August, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Closed Christmas Day. Gates close and lock at specific hours throughout the year . No entry or exit is permitted after closing except for law enforcement or medical emergencies.
Pets are allowed except in park buildings and swim areas, but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
Quiet hours are from 10pm until 7am and are strictly enforced.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.
