The Dubois area offers some of the best access to wilderness and recreational trails in the West. Destination Dubois is a favorite mountain town, with an elevation of 6,917 feet and only 30 miles east of the Continental Divide . Dubois is a great base camp for a true Rocky Mountain experience. One night won't be enough to enjoy all of the scenic driving tours , weekly scheduled natural, historical and cultural events, rodeos, square dances and entertainment famous for its western flair.
