Creasey Lodge: Five bedroom frame lodge, maximum capacity eighteen, two sets of bunk beds in four bedrooms, one double bed in one bedroom, no bed rentals. The kitchen includes a stove, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, dishes, silverware, basic pots and pans, dish towels. The living area has a TV/VCR with no cable or satellite reception and a telephone for local and collect calls only. There is a divided living room with a fireplace in between. There are three bathrooms; two with sink, toiley, and tub-shower combination, and the third is handicapped accessible with tub-shower combination. This lodge is at the bottom of the mountain and has a gas grill.
Maximum of six cars per lodge and a parking fee is charged for additional cars. You may want to bring food, coffee filters, coffee, salt and pepper, nonstick cooking spray, board games or cards, extra bath towels, washcloths and dish towels. Bedrooms include bed(s), nightstands, and a clock radio. Linens are provided and includes sheets, pillows, pillow cases, blankets, a comforter, towels, washcloths and dish towels. One set is provided per bed and they are not changed daily. Lodges have a fireplace, rustic furniture, and are climate controlled (heat and air conditioning). Guests who arrive late will find on the park office door a letter with instructions on how and when to register the following morning. A park map with directions to the lodge is provided. The park office is the first building on the right, after exiting I-64, beyond the honor booth. Out of respect for lodge guests, large gatherings and camping are not allowed in the lodge area. Quiet hours are from 10pm through 6am. Only overnight guests are allowed in the park after 10pm. Visitors are charged daily parking, launching and swimming fees; visitors must park in areas designated by the park.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Non-Virginia residents pay a higher rate than Virginia Residents.
