The facility's high country setting with trees, streams and open space, make it a scenic destination for all types of visitors.Natural Features:The Sierra National Forest, located on the western slope of the central Sierra Nevada, is known for its spectacular mountain scenery and abundant natural resources. Recreation:Dinkey Creek has 2 swimming areas: The Slicks and Honeymoon Pool, both of which contain pools carved out of granite. Anglers can fish Dinkey Creek for brown and rainbow trout. Facilities:There is a group site that can accommodate up to 50 people. The rest are a mix of standard or tent-only single sites. Nearby Attractions:McKinley Grove is 6 miles away.
