Dewolf Point State Park has a cabin colony, a camping area, a stone gazebo, and dockage for boats on the Lake of the Isles in the St. Lawrence River. Fishermen and nature lovers appreciate this small park's rustic beauty. All patrons of DeWolf have free access to Wellesley Island State Park, for use of their recreational facilities.

Dewolf Point State Park is located on Wellesley Island in the St. Lawrence River, in Jefferson County.

Recreation:

Park activities include fishing (ice fishing in winter), boating, picnicking, and camping.

Facilities:

Boat launch sites and dockage, cabins, campsites, picnic tables, pavilions, and showers are almost all handicapped-accessible.

To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made.

Only 2 pets per site are permitted. Current rabies certificate required. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6ft at all times.

Campsites

All campsites at DeWolf are non-electric.

Each site allows 2 tents or 1 recreational vehicle.

Looking to reserve for just 1-night? If you make your reservation within 3 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night stay online or through the Call Center. This applies only to campsites.

Cabins

Children must be under constant parental supervision due to rough terrain.

Smoking is NOT permitted in the cabins.

During Peak Season, cabins are 7 or 14 day reservations only. Cabins 1 - 7 run Saturday to Saturday and Cabins 8 -14 run Sunday to Sunday.

Peak season: A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation.
