CHECK IN:
Camper check-in begins at 3:00 pm and no later than 10:00 pm.
WILDLIFE:
The forest land around the campground and day-use area is home to Black Bear. Black Bear sightings are common in the campground. Campers are reminded to keep their site clean at all times by properly disposing of trash and keeping all food items secured. Each campsite has a bear proof food storage locker with 24 cubic feet of storage space with enough room for two standard size coolers and dry goods.

GOLDEN AGE PASS:
Persons 62 years of age and older with MD Park Service Golden Age pass are entitled to half-price camping Sunday-Thursday, excluding Holidays. Display of Golden Age Pass will be required upon check-in. Additional service charges will be applied if unable to provide proof of valid pass.

ALCOHOL POLICY:
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in the campground with the exception of interior areas of motorhomes. Additional Alcohol Policy Information can be found at:

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.
GENERATORS:
Generators are permitted, but all aspects of their use & operation must conform to the established quiet hours & all applicable safeguards designed to prevent disturbing other visitors & to preserve the peace & tranquility of the park environment.

ELECTRIC HOOKUPS:
Electric hookups available within Meshach Browning Loop only; sites 1-26.
QUIET HOURS:
Quiet time will be maintained in the campground from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
MINIMUM STAY:
There is a two night minimum stay (Friday/Saturday) and a three night minimum stay on Holiday weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday), Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
