Fall and Winter Camping in MD State Parks:
Many Maryland State Parks offer fall and winter primitive RV camping opportunities. Additional information can be found at:
2014 Reservation/Transaction Fees:
In addition to the park facility use fee, there is a nightly reservation/transaction fee. Internet reservations, the per night fee is $4.56. Call Center, the per night fee is $4.61. Walk-In transactions at the park, the per night fee is $4.51. Reservation/Transaction Fees are Non-Refundable.

Deep Creek Lake State Park, which features Marylands largest man-made lake, offers opportunities to camp, fish, swim and launch your boat in Garrett County. The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all state park areas with the exception of interior areas of full-service cabins and motorhomes.
Alcohol permits will only be issued through a reservation for a designated shelter, or other approved facility. A $35 fee will be charged for each alcohol permit. Permits may be revoked for cause by Park Manager, their designee or a Natural Resources Police Officer.
Internet shelter reservations requiring an alcohol permit will need to contact the Call Center at 1-888-432-2267, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 8 pm to make your reservation.
