ALCOHOL POLICY:
Alcohol permits will only be issued through a reservation for a designated shelter. A $35 non-refundable fee will be charged for each alcohol permit.
Internet shelter reservations requiring an alcohol permit will need to contact the Call Center at 1-888-432-2267, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 8 pm to make your reservation.

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.
WILDLIFE:
The forest land around the park is home to black bears.They have been known to travel through the park looking for an easy meal. PLEASE keep all food in your vehicle and pack your trash out.
PARK HOURS:
The Park and shelters are open 8 AM until sunset.
TRASH FREE:
All trash must be packed out, please bring your own garbage bags.

Shelter holds a maximum of 100 persons. Paved Handicap accessible. Easy access for caterer. Overlook view. Grills, drinking water available at or near shelter. Electricity: 110V, 25 amps. Lights. Wooded around shelter. Next to horseshoe pit. Open play area is nearby. <150 ft. from restroom. Swimming pool is in walking distance. 300 total parking spaces in Park.
