ALCOHOL POLICY:
Alcohol permits will only be issued through a reservation for a designated shelter. A $35 fee will be charged for each alcohol permit.
Internet shelter reservations requiring an alcohol permit will need to contact the Call Center at 1-888-432-2267, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 8 pm to make your reservation.

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.
TRASH FREE:
All trash must be packed out, please bring your own garbage bags.
WILDLIFE:
The forest land around the park is home to black bears.They have been known to travel through the park looking for an easy meal. PLEASE keep all food in your vehicle and pack your trash out.
PARK HOURS:
The Park and shelters are open 8 AM until sunset.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Reservation fees and cancellation fees are non-refundable.

SPECIFIC SHELTER INFORMATION:
Hill Run is a large shelter on the right side of the road upon entering the park on Water Station Road. Amenities include 110V 25amp electricity, a fireplace, grills, a horseshoe pit and an unimproved ball field. Restrooms and drinking water are about 300 feet away. There is also a fishing pond located approximately 300 yards up the road. Shelter is not handicap accessible. Easy access for caterer.
SWIMMING POOL IS LOCATED 1-MILE FROM SHELTER.
