Alerts and Important Information
The Nature Den has an electric light switch as well as an electric outlet. The den has a wood burning stove. Customers need to bring wood or purchase it from a camp host. The den has 3 single beds. Customers need to bring their own bedding.
Due to possible snow or icy conditions, tire chains may be required to access this cabin from November through April.
There is no other furniture in the den, and the floors are bare. There is a picnic table, BBQ grill, and fire ring outside. There is a maximum limit of eight people; there are three single beds, and room to accommodate five either inside the den or in a tent outside. Each den has a lock hasp on the door. If the customer wants to secure the den in their absence, they need to bring a padlock.
Reservation fees include entry for 1 vehicle. Extra vehicles may not fit and must park in the day use lot. Cabin will accommodate up to 8 people. Cabin has 3 bed frames w/out mattresses, a table, and chairs. Bring your own camping pad or air mattress. A picnic table, BBQ, and a fire ring are outside. Pets are OK. Cabin has electricity. Water faucet is nearby. Restrooms with showers are in the campground. A small tent may fit on the site. The cabin is kept locked between reservations; campers may bring their own padlock to use during their stay. Campers are responsible to clean the cabin before vacating. CHECK-IN/OUT: 2 PM check-in strictly enforced. Check-out is 12:00 pm. General Information: The park offers over 100 miles of riding and hiking trails with pine and oak forests, meadows, streams, ocean and desert views. There is a public lake 2 miles away. Except for the paved road to Cuyamaca Peak, dogs are not allowed on trails.
