Green Valley Horse Camp sites are only available to campers who are camping with horses. Reservations will not be honored for campers who do not have horses.
There is only one trail linking the campground with the Park's riding trails. This route requires that horses transit the paved campground road for a distance of 250'. You should expect to encounter motor vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians, most of whom are not familiar with horses along this route.
The Green Valley Horse Camp is designed to primarily accommodate small to medium size tow vehicles and horse trailers.The road leading into the camp is narrow as are many of the sites. Some sites are pull-through; others require strong trailer backing skills. Check the dimensions of the sites before making your reservation.
Each site has two corrals, a picnic table, and fire ring. A limited number of extra corrals are available on a first-come basis. Only one horse or riding animal may be placed in a corral. Stallions and nursing mares are strongly discouraged. Campers are required to clean up all manure, straw, and shavings before checking out of the campground. Use the provided manure trailers; manure shall not be placed in dumpsters. Trailers and wheelbarrows are provided for manure disposal. Hose bibs are located throughout the campground. Campers need to provide their own hoses. Horses may not be tied to vegetation and park facilities.
Restrooms and pay showers are located in the center of the Green Valley Horse Camp loop. Fire wood is available for sale at the campground entrance and at the campground host site.
Most sites are too small to accommodate extra vehicles. Extra vehicles will need to be parked in the Falls Day Use Area, one-half mile from the horse camp. All vehicles need to be parked within the designated campsite. Parked vehicles may not obstruct the roadway.
Do not check-in before 2:00 p.m., as there is no place to park early arrivals. Camping fees include parking for one vehicle and one trailer.
Pets must be kept on a leash or in a vehicle at all times and are not allowed on trails; they may not be left unattended in the campground.

Visitors reserving accessible campsites must possess a DMV Disabled
Placard or license plates issued by DMV (or a similar agency of
another state). A Disabled Veterans license plate will also be accepted
when reserving or occupying an accessible campsite. At the time of
check-in, visitors must show the DMV placard. The disabled visitor must
be an occupant of the site for the entire reservation period. No refunds
will be issued for invalid reservations.
**Disabled access sites are Level II by ADA standards.
