BUS RESERVATION INFORMATION:
VANS:
Vans containing 15 passengers or more are considered buses. If a customer has more than one van but the total capacity is less than 50 people, it will be considered a single bus reservation. This includes a caravan of cars so long as the number does not exceed 50 people.
SWIMMING:
Lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting. Swimming is permitted when lifeguards are not on duty but is at your own risk. Swimming is allowed only in the roped areas of the lake. Swimming opportunities are not always guaranteed. It is your responsibility to call the Park Office at least two days prior to your arrival to check current swimming conditions. Be aware the cancellation policy is still in effect.
SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR YOUTH GROUPS:
A Youth Group must consist of a ratio of 1 adult (age 18 and older) per 5 children; this ratio must be maintained at all times.
Must present valid Youth Group Pass upon arrival at park, copy will not be accepted.
A roster of all children and adults is required upon arrival at the park. The roster must contain an emergency contact person who will be responsible for the group. The emergency contact must be present at the park with the group.
Group leaders are responsible for the actions of their group and required to follow park rules and regulations posted on bulletin boards throughout the park. If group fails to comply, you will be asked to leave the park. No refunds will be given and future reservations may be cancelled.
SERVICE CHARGES:
Bus reservation service charges are non-refundable.
Admitted Free: Children buckled in safety seats; 62 or older with MD Golden Age Pass; Golden Age Pass requires a $10 fee; and, persons with MD Universal Disability Pass.
Youth Groups: With valid Youth Group Pass admittance is free up to 50 people. Additional persons over the initial 50 are charged $1 per person upon arrival. Youth Group Pass Number must be documented within reservation. Without a valid Youth Group Pass and entering under a reservation the group will be charged $1 per person. Summer Camps and Day Cares are charged $1 per person.
Non Youth Groups:All other Non Youth Groups and organizations consisting of families (adults and children) arriving on a bus, will be charged per person: MD residents $3 weekday and $5 weekend/holidays; out-of-state $5 weekday and $7 weekend/holidays.
ALCOHOL POLICY:
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all state park areas with the exception of interior areas of motorhomes. .

FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.

Maryland State Parks are 'Trash-Free'. All trash must be removed by group. Please bring sufficient large trash bags for trash removal.
