This 18-hole championship course has wide oak and pine tree-lined fairways and large undulating greens guarded by 51 sand traps. LakeSide Country Club has four holes playing around an abandoned phosphate mine with long par 5's and numerous doglegs, making unusual layouts not typical of most Florida courses. The 9-hole "Point O' Woods" course at the Point O' Woods Golf Club facility in Inverness, Florida, features 1,770 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 30. The course rating is 28.3 and it has a slope rating of 77. Point O Woods opened in 1967.The "Point" is flat and very walkable, however riding carts are available for our golfers.
