Description

Crystal Cove State Park's rolling surf, wide sandy beaches, tide pools, gently sloping hills and deeply wooded canyons and ridges provide a delightful contrast to its urban surroundings. Located off Pacific Coast Highway between Corona Del Mar and Laguna beach, Crystal Cove is one of Orange County's largest remaining examples of open space and natural seashores. Recreation at Crystal Cove can be had along seven separate coves stretching the 3.2 miles of beach or hiking and mountain biking through the 2,400 undeveloped acres of the El Moro Backcountry.

Alerts and Important Information
  • Discount Pass must be presented at the time of check in.

    Your DMV Disabled Placard/License Plate does not automatically give you a discount on your campsite. You will need to obtain a CA State park-issued Disabled Discount Pass (DDP) or Distinguished Veterans Pass (DVP).
  • Campsite fees are reduced $10.00 per night Mon - Thurs from Nov 1 - Mar 31.
  • Check in time is 3:00 PM with no early check in.
  • All tents must be free standing with NO STAKES.
  • Fire Pits are not provided and all fires must be self contained gas only fires.
  • BBQs are not provided and all BBQs are to be self contained gas BBQs only.
  • Smoking is allowed but prohibited in the adjacent backcountry and trails.
  • Dogs are allowed in the campsites and on paved trails only and must be on a 6' leash at all times.
  • Beach and backcountry trails close at sunset, all nonregistered guests must exit at that time.
  • Fees include entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle or trailer, additional vehicles will be charged per night.
  • The maximum overall vehicle limit is 38', and extra vehicle fees will be charged upon arrival at the park.
  • Hookups include Water and Electric only. Dump station is located in the park near the entrance station. Electric service provides 30 and 50 AMP service.
