Description

Rippling arcs of rust-colored sand welcome you as you enter Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. Contrasted by blue skies, juniper and pinion pines, and steep red cliffs, the park is a wonderful place for camping, photography, off-highway vehicle riding, and playing in the sand. As the only major sand dune field on the Colorado Plateau, this park is a unique geologic feature that should not be missed.

The 22 site campground rests in a beautiful desert environment filled with juniper trees surrounded by coral pink sands.

  • Parking is very limited. Only one vehicle allowed per campsite.

  • If attached trailers do not fit within the site, the owner may need to reserve an additional site.

Getting There:

Travel south on Interstate 15 to Nephi, In Nephi take Highway 28 to Salina, at Salina take Interstate 70 past Richfield to the East Zion/Bryce Canyon Exit. Take Highway 89 south to Mt. Carmel Junction, approximately 5 miles past Mt. Carmel Junction still on 89, take the Coral Pink Sand Dunes Exit, and drive 12 miles west to the park entrance.
