Shelter #4 (small): Shelter 4 can accommodate 30-40 people under the shelter. Handicap accessible. A restroom is about 220 feet from shelter, a. large parking area is approximately 140 feet away, and the lake is roughly 354 feet away. Has level sidewalk from parking area to shelter. Does not have view of lake but is shaded. No flat area in immediate vicinity for games. Features electrical outlets, water spigot, horseshoe pit (guests must bring their own horseshoes) and two pedestal grills (one on end and one on side of shelter). No lights. Each shelter guest must pay applicable daily parking or admission fee. Please contact the park prior to the day of your event to make special arrangements to pay for all members of your party at one time. Please call the park directly to discuss ANY use of the picnic shelter beyond simple picnicking as a Special Use Permit may be required for other uses AND/OR additional fees may be required. Alcohol may not be displayed nor used in any open area per Virginia State Law; in enclosed areas IF allowed a license from the VA ABC Board may be required in addition to approval by the park via Special Use Permit.
