Shelter #2 (small): Shelter 2 can accommodate 30-40 people under the shelter.A restroom is about 470 feet from shelter, a. large parking area is about 125 feet away, and the lake is roughly 65 feet away. There's no sidewalk to shelter, which has the best view of the lake. The shelter, however, is not shaded. Has level area for games. Features water spigot, horseshoe pit (guests must bring their own horseshoes), one fireplace grill on end of shelter and two pedestal grills (one on each end of shelter). No lights or electrical outlets. Each shelter guest must pay applicable daily parking or admission fee. Please contact the park prior to the day of your event to make special arrangements to pay for all members of your party at one time. Please call the park directly to discuss ANY use of the picnic shelter beyond simple picnicking as a Special Use Permit may be required for other uses AND/OR additional fees may be required. Alcohol may not be displayed nor used in any open area per Virginia State Law; in enclosed areas IF allowed a license from the VA ABC Board may be required in addition to approval by the park via Special Use Permit.
