This is Cedar Island State Park. It is not part of the Kring Point Camping Area. Is Cedar Island the campground you are requesting? Cedar Island sites are accessible by boat only, there are no bridges or ferries. Boat rentals available at Wellesley Island State Park Marina.

  • This Park operates under a 2-day window for advance reservations.
  • Only 2 pets per site are permitted. Current rabies certificate required. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6ft at all times.
  • Fires in fire rings ONLY!
  • Campers must be 18 years old to register.
  • Looking to reserve for just 1-night? If you make your reservation within 3 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night stay online or through the Call Center. This applies only to campsites.
  • Peak season: A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation.

The park is located in Chippewa Bay, near Hammond, and only accessible by boat. The best access is from the public boat launch and parking area in the Village of Chippewa Bay. Boat rentals are available nearby; call the park for information. 315-482-2444
