I-5 Ortega Highway Off Ramp – ORTEGA BRIDGE VEHICLE LIMITS Starting Saturday, June 1, 2013, crews will reduce lanes on the Ortega Highway bridge over the I-5 freeway to two lanes in either direction in preparation for upcoming demolition activities on the south half of the bridge. This configuration will last for approximately one year as crews work to demolish and reconstruct the south half of the bridge. *During this configuration, trucks, trailers and motor homes more than 25-feet long will be unable to exit the I-5 southbound off-ramp and maneuver a left turn to eastbound Ortega Highway and will have to utilize alternate routes. Recommended route is to exit east on Crown Valley Parkway, south on Antonio Parkway, and east on Ortega Highway to the park entrance. Please call (949) 923-2210 for more information. Caspers Wilderness Park is supplied by its own domestic water system; therefore, there are times when park facilities, such as showers, flush toilets, and/or drinking water may not be available. For up to date information, please call Caspers Wilderness Park at 949-923-2210
Lengths of sites refer to parking area only. Turning radius to get into a site may be limited for vehicles longer than 30 feet.
1 Trailer/RV per site, 2 tents/site, 2 Vehicles/site. ADDITONAL FEE: Second vehicle is $5/night collected at the park.
Camping stay is limited to a 15 night maximum per month which combines stays at both O'Neill and Caspers parks. This includes all extra vehicles and companions. A 5 day interim period is required before campers my re-register.
Domestic PETS are Prohibited.
Fires in BBQ or Fire pits ONLY
All campers must be 18 years of age or older or must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult.
The maximum number of campsites an individual may reserve is 2. If you would like to reserve a group campsite, please contact the park office at 949-923-220.
The following are prohibited in the park: possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages, possession or use of firearms or weapons, possession or use of fireworks, domestic animals.
