Parking :Please park in designated parking lots. Parking next to a pavilion is prohibited.
Tobacco Use:Pavilions and Picnic areas are designated tobacco free zones.
Restrooms:Restrooms are open from April 1 to October 31.
Estimated Arrival Time:Please contact the Park prior to Arrival with your estimated arrival time.
Trash Removal:Trash Remove is included in pavilion rentals. Trash removal is not provided for Designated Picnic Area rentals. Visitors must carry out all debris brought into the park. Free trash bags are provided at various locations.
Amusement devices (moon bounces, etc.) and canopies:Additional space may be available for amusement devices (moon bounces etc.) or canopies. Please contact the park for availability, to make arrangements for the additional space at least one week prior to the event and for rates for the added space.
Alcoholic BeveragesAlcohol may only be displayed and consumed within pavilion or picnic area only. Keg beer is not permitted. Only cans may be brought into the park. No glass bottles.
Park entrance fees are in effect for reservations between March 1st and November 30th, guests will need to be prepared to pay this fee upon entry to the Park. Please contact the Park for more information.
Pets are NOT allowed at pavilion sites.
The pavilion is located in the Gordon Pond State Beach area of Cape Henlopen State Park. 1 large BBQ grill, 1 fire ring with cooking grate. Please purchase your firewood locally. Electric extension cord needed to access 110 volt electric outlet. Decorations shall not be nailed or stapled into any park structure or tree and shall be removed immediately after your event. Trash pick-up included with rental. Water and portable commodes available from March 1 to November 30. Entrance fees are charged from March 1 to November 30.
Alcohol is permitted in the pavilion area, not on the beach. Contact the Park Office if live music is part of your event. 302-645-8983.
SWIMMING BEACH IS UNGUARDED. Swim at your own risk.
PARKING IS LIMITED. Once the Park Administrator or designated agent stipulates a park has reached capacity, no additional visitors will be admitted. Plan to carpool and arrive early in the day, especially on weekends.
Accessible only through Rehoboth Beach entrance.
