This site is available Apr-Oct by advanced reservation only. Homestead Valley Group Camp is a remote site 1 mile inside the Bear Creek entrance on the southwest side of the park. The site has two chemical toilets (to be rented by group), NO WATER, six 10' tables, 16' portable table, and fire circle. Parking is included with reservation. To call the park use 1-888-EBPARKS (888-327-2757), option 3, extension 4508.

Groups must arrange for water and extra toilets and are required to meet those vendors for both installation and removal. You must call the Park Supervisor at (510) 544-3120 at least 3 weeks before the event to review site restrictions, discuss parking and vehicle access and activities.

No water - Chemical toilets to be rented by group. Issue key only - no car passes.

* Reservations must be completed and paid in full 5 working days prior to your arrival date or 3 days prior if picking up parking passes/permits. * Closed NOV - MAR.

There is a 1 Mile Hike to this site. Tents Only. This site has grills/fire rings.

IF TRAILS ARE WET, THEY ARE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC. If this means you must cancel your event, call Reservations for a refund or to reschedule. DRIVING ON CLOSED TRAILS WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF FUTURE ACCESS TO SITES AND YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR REPAIRS.

Directions FROM HWY 24: exit Orinda Village and head north on Camino Pablo Rd. Shortly after Camino Pablo becomes San Pablo Dam Rd, turn right at the light onto Bear Creek Rd. Bear Creek entrance is on the right, just beyond Happy Valley Rd. FROM HWY 80: exit San Pablo Dam Rd and head east through town past San Pablo Reservoir. Turn left at the light onto Bear Creek Rd and look for Bear Creek park entrance just beyond Happy Valley Rd.
