Nearby you can visit great fishing, boating or beautiful beaches. This is a choice location for day tripping to Toronto, Peterborough, and the wonderful beaches of Sandbanks or Presquile, and the perfect spot to begin the Apple Route, with numerous farms and markets to visit. Dont forget to get your picture taken at the nearby Big Apple! Visit the town of Brighton, on historic Hwy 2, along the scenic shores of Lake Ontario. The wonderful 19th century architecture of the town retains the spirit of the early founders who established some of the first apple orchards in Canada.

From here, it's only 75 minutes to Toronto and 3 hours to Montreal. Stop here to rest and relax or explore one of Ontarios most beautiful tourists regions.
