Barstow / Calico KOA, CADescriptionA refreshing oasis in California's Mojave Desert, the Barstow Calico KOA is conveniently located midway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The campground is focused on providing a pleasant and restful change from the rigors of a day on the road. Kids can work off some pent up energy on our fun bikes, playground with climbing wall or in the family pool. Our four-legged guests delight in discovering acres of desert to explore. This KOA features 70-ft. pull-thrus with dividing hedges, full hookups, free cable and Wi-Fi, cabins, as well as tent sites and our first tepee. Free shuttle service to Calico Ghost Town, a former 1880's silver-mining town, with seven fun-packed festival weekends each year, is available for guests. The Calico Mountain Trails, just 3 miles from the park, are a playground for off-highway vehicles, rockhounders and hikers.
